What Is A Sacred Bath?
A Sacred Bath is exactly that, a bath! You set your warm bath as you always would. However, in healing self, there are a few things you are going to add to your bath so that it fits the description of Spiritually Sacred Self Care.
Before all, make sure that your bathing space is clean and free of clutter. Don’t distract yourself from healing you with visual reminders that you need to clean up. Avoid the distraction by removing it before it even has a chance to be a distraction.

Set Your Intention:
The first step & the most important ingredient in this recipe, other than you, is setting the intention. What does setting an intention mean? It is verbally, emotionally, spiritually and mentally affirming the result you wish to seek. For example, “I am healing.” This affirmation can be used to create a mantra that you can recite whole heartedly as you stood over the rising bath water and prepare your sacred bath.
The Intention Setting, Word-Manifestation (Example -to heal-):
“I am recovering. As I step into the healing water of my sacred bath, I will match it’s energy by doing what is necessary to heal all parts of me. This blessed water and all parts added to create my Sacred Bath are stimuli & a temporary home to the outpouring of my subconscious thoughts and the traumas that are, in this moment, preparing to free themselves without looking back. Through this journey I will Just Be; over-standing that there is no clear definition of what that will look like outside of positive. I will cry, laugh, celebrate, release my inhibitions, own and face my vulnerabilities. When I am complete I will have absorbed all that is for me. I will release into the water & separate from all except the highest & the best and as the water drains away it will be a clear depiction of the washing away of all that no longer serves me so I can fully embrace the manifestation of my intention.... HEALING."
Why Is Setting The Intention Necessary?
This first step is vital as you are utilizing the water to transmute energies and provide healing. Water easily absorbs what it comes into contact with in many ways including but not limited to - verbally, telepathically & through touch. Just as the water will absorb and heighten the healing powers of the oils, candles, music, crystals, herbs, flowers, salts and/or lighting you specifically choose for your sacred bath, it does the same with energy and one of the ultimate energy influencers for your bath water is definetely you.
This is the moment where you start to practice the innate power that is you through the tools of transmutation. This is why it is extremely important that while setting your intention, you focus on what accomplishing your goal looks and feels like, the gratitude of living in the imperfectly perfect essence of effectively and efficiently practicing consistency & completion as a means to reach your celebration destination.
THIS is why it is important to step away, for this moment from negative feelings or thoughts about your current state or any nonsensical ideas that you are incapable of reaching where you aspire to be successfully. Separate yourself, as you prepare this sacred space, from any self-doubt or conditioned invalidating ideas of self. Instead, become one with all that is the beauty of you.
Utilize the moment as a catalyst; realize that what you once thought was unattainable, putting you on your calendar, has now come to fruition and innerstand that that is a true reflection of who you were, who you are and who you are becoming.
This is your moment to begin conquering protection and preservation of self...
This is your moment to choose happiness and just be.
Setting Up Your Sacred Bath Space:
For this, I say go with what your intuition is leading you to do. Outside of the essentials, utilize what speaks to you such as aromatherapy diffusers, google lights, a quick stretch, etc.
LIGHTS: I.e. If you´re focused on opening up your Sacral Chakra, so you can set the lights in your bathroom to the color that represents this chakra, orange/yellow.
SOUND: You can find different meditations on our YouTube channel (and others) that match the frequency of your intention. As other meditations varied from healing, attunements, invocations, light bodies calibration, chakras, to abundance, affirmations, manifestation, choosing happy, and more. There is a wide variety of sound healing - singing bowl sound baths, binaural beats, tuning forks & more.
Feel free to tap into whatever feels best for you!
Depending on what your intention is, you will parallel your intent with the Herbs, flowers, Crystals, Candles and Oils that you add to your sacred bath before entering it. These items can be mixed prepared and stored prior so all you have to do is pour them into the water.
CANDLES:
When choosing your candle you will want to focus on the color and scent. I.e. your main focus will be more on color here as you will try to have as much orange/yellow around as you could, to heal help open up your Sacral Chakra.
The goal is to make everything match your intent. For instance, if the goal is healing, use the following:
· White: Purity, Healing, Innocence, Divination, Peace.
· Pink: Self-Love, Caring, Femininity, Nurturing.
· Orange: Creativity, Ambition, Celebration.
· Blue: Protection, Focus, Forgiveness, Water, Truth, Calm.

CRYSTALS:
Some crystals should not be placed in the water with you due to their toxicity levels when soaked in water. In addition, some are very sensitive and can be damaged by prolonged amounts of time in water. If you´re not versed in the world of healing stones, place them around the tub instead of in the bath.
Remember your crystals should match your intent.
HEALING: Polychrome Jasper, Pyrite, Rose Quartz, Carnelian, Black Tourmaline, Amazonite, Celestine.
STRESS: Green Calcite, Lepidolite.
FATIGUE: Jasper, Copper.
INSOMNIA: Scolecite.
BACK PAIN: Quartz Crystal, Bloodstone.
HEADACHE: Fluorite.
SADNESS: Lithium Quartz, Peacock Ore.
JET LAG: Fluorite,Yellow Jasper, Pink Calcite.
HERBS:
Herbs can be placed in a satchel that can be dropped in the tub. This way the loose Herbs don’t get all over you or the tub.
Chamomile & Lavender can be combined to calm you down so you can relax on your fussiest day.
Basil helps with just the opposite. Add this herb to your bath for invigoration. It will pick you right up.
In this current climate anything that will assist in clear breathing as well as a clear mind. Add Eucalyptus to clear head congestion. Rosemary also helps with congestion as well as body aches and pains.
As a tea, Lemon Balm, calms you down. However, as a bath it’s scent creates the opposite effect. It’s a great pick me up when you require some energy.
Yarrow is the perfect herb to add for wounds and irritated skin. Calendula is great for wounds & dry skin as Fennel is great for oily skin.
FLOWERS: Lavender, Jasmine, Rose, Chamomile, Lily, Hibiscus, Calendula, Peppermint, Dandelion.
SALTS: Dead Sea Salt, Himalayan Rock Salt, Epsom Salt and there you have it!
Again, this is one of the most beautiful and sacred healing practices you can ever have the blessing to experience. You will always find yourself in an innate sense of gratitude as you step out of your sacred bath and into the world. Be patient with yourself. Utilize this and all other practices to learn about you and what serves you. Do research, get creative, and readjust accordingly to make it fit your needs. Even if your idea seems silly, as long as it is safe, go for it -take a healthy chance on you-. Every beings journey is unique to them and as such you have to exclusively tailor your program to fit your soul purpose.
It’s all part of the process as everything is for everything and nothing is for nothing.
